Most Anticipated Albums Of 2018

Hopefully you enjoyed our Top 50 Albums Of 2017 Countdown! Now that we're in a new year, how about we look at what albums are released soon that could make our 2018 list.

Brandi Carlile By The Way I Forgive You - February 16th

Few can blow you away with their voice alone quite like Carlile can. "The Joke" is just another example on her long list of gorgeous songs and we imagine more will be coming once the album is released next month.

First Aid Kit Ruins - January 19

The Swedish sisters are doing their best to keep the spirit of Laurel Canyon alive as they harmonize better than ever on songs like "It's A Shame"

Calexico The Thread The Keeps Us - January 26th

With all the controversy in the US over the last year, Calexico took a different tone on their first single from their upcoming release. The rest of the album includes songs of hope and themes that celebrate America.

Glen Hansard Between Two Shores - January 19th

Hansard is one of the top storytellers of our time (as anyone who has seen him perform live can tell you, he tends to go on tangents). It's always exciting to see what stories an artist like him decides to tell on a new album.

Anderson East Encore - January 12th

East's life has been a little hectic since he debuted with Delilah. Now a frequent subject of the celebrity news cycle because of his relationship with Miranda Lambert, he showed growth on our first taste from the new album.

Kyle Craft Full Circle - February 2

Few can pull off a throwback sound that doesn't quite sound like anything in particular from the past. With a little Southern rock and a bit of glam rock, he creates his own unique sound that wouldn't have existed in the 70's.

Typhoon Offerings - January 12th

The 13 piece band out of Portland turned more than a few heads in 2013 when they debuted with White Lighter. It's the concept album with four movements that follows the mental phases the fictional main character goes through.

Van William Countries - January 19th

One of our favorite local finds this year follows up his EP with a full length album.
